This class was so great for both the beginner and for the advanced. As a retired law enforcement officer and have completed courses from qualification to SWAT to active shooter and have found this course can be set to any of those scenarios. I found both the classroom portion and hands on portion of the class very informative. As a relatively new CCW carrier, the discussions on types of holsters and dealing with day-to-day issues were great. The hands on portion was both fun and good training for real life situations. The instructors are both top notch, offering real life experiences they have been through.

My individual skills were evaluated and the only ``competition`` was that with myself, not with the other attendees of the class. I quickly realized that, I have not practiced enough.
