Do you offer classes in order to get my Concealed Carry Permit?

Yes! We offer courses for firearms owners that provide the necessary training and strategies to receive their concealed carry permit. Students will learn basic firearms safety and general laws for concealed carry in the state of Florida. Topics discussed may include, but are not limited to, permissable and non-permissable locations you can carry concealed, states that have reciprocity with Florida, “Stand Your Ground” law, and “Castle Doctrine”.

How come some of your trainings aren’t at gun ranges?

For some of our courses, we utilize non-lethal ammunition (NLA) that is generally safe for indoor use with minimal backstop issues. In addition, it replicates the entire feel of firing live ammunition (accuracy, cycles the weapon, gives kickback where appropriate, etc.). Even though the ammunition is less lethal than the real thing, we still follow all the safe range rules complete with assigned “range” officers in the training areas to enforce safety and a multi step system to ensure no live ammunition is brought into the training areas.

I’m new to owning a gun, can I participate in these classes?

Yes. We offer beginner level training for people that have an interest in personal defense and don’t have a lot of experience shooting. We are teaching experts, not just self defense experts, so everything is taught in a really easy to earn step-by-step manner. For many, the first step is to obtain your concealed carry permit.
